The Activities and curriculum of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) plays a vital role in “Nation Building” by providing multi-faceted opportunities to the youth for self development inculcating discipline and commitment. The National Cadet Corps over the years has played a commendable role in transforming the youth to become responsible citizens.

Gils students use to take active participation & achievements in Drill, Firing (weapon Training), peracelling, sledring, hand-gliding, pera jumping, horse riding etc. at girls wing of NCC, also having achievement at local & national level camps.
NCC is:
  • A sense of patriotic commitment.
  • Respect for diversities in religion, language, culture, ethnicity, life style and habitat to instill a sense of unity and social cohesion.
  • healthy life style , Sensitivity , habits of restraint and self-awareness.
  • Values of honesty, truthfulness, self-sacrifice, perseverance and hard work.
  • Respect for knowledge, wisdom and the power of ideas.
Achievements:-
  • U. O. Mahima Sharma is selected for Thal Sainik Camp, 2014 New Delhi and represented Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh Directorate.
  • Sgt. Priya Misha selected for OTA Chennai attachment Camp.
  • Sgt. Madhuri Lahase and Cdt. Nupur Vyas selected Inter Group competition at Raipur for Republic Day Parade 2015
  • ANO Lt. Preeti S. Ratola got appreciation certificate for outstanding performance by education minister Mr. Deepak Joshi on NCC Day Mela.
  • Cdt Aditi Gupta is sleeted for National Games – 2014 (Table Tennis) at Delhi.
  • IPS NCC cadets participated and roll their name in Limca book of record on international day of YOGA.
  • ANO Lt. Preeti S. Ratola in team of MP and CG Directorate in Republic Day Parade 2016.
